A standard three-bedroom home in the Eastern Suburbs usually takes between five and seven working days for an interior repaint, depending on the number of rooms, ceiling height and the condition of existing surfaces. Interior and exterior together typically takes ten to fourteen working days, which leaves adequate time for thorough surface preparation, priming and multiple coats. Larger homes, or homes that need significant repair work such as filling cracks in rendered walls, replacing rotted timber or stripping old coatings, take longer. We always provide a detailed timeline during the quoting process so you can plan around the work. Weather also affects exterior schedules, particularly during Sydney's wet season, so we build a buffer into our timelines for outdoor projects.

In most cases, you do not need to move out. We work room by room, completing each space before moving to the next, and use heavy-duty dust sheets and plastic coverings to protect your furniture, floors, and belongings. We keep walkways clear and clean up at the end of each day so you can use your home comfortably in the evenings. For larger whole-house projects involving sanding, extensive prep work, or multiple rooms being done simultaneously, some clients with young children or pets find it more convenient to stay elsewhere for a few days. We primarily use premium Australian paint brands including Dulux and Taubmans, both of which offer excellent coverage, durability and an extensive colour range suitable for Sydney's coastal climate. Dulux Wash & Wear is a popular choice for interior walls because it resists scuffing and cleans easily, and Dulux Weathershield provides long-lasting protection for exterior surfaces exposed to sun, salt air and rain. We choose the product and sheen level for the surface and the room: flat and low sheen for ceilings and living areas, semi-gloss for doors, trims and wet areas. Yes. Every job carries a 12 month workmanship warranty from the date of completion. It covers our workmanship only: surface preparation, application and the finish. If a defect in our work appears in that time, such as peeling, blistering or uneven coverage, we come back and rectify it at no cost. It does not cover substrate failure, moisture ingress, structural movement, or damage outside our control. The paints we use carry their own manufacturer warranties as well.
