What fire-rated painting systems do you offer?
We apply intumescent and fire-retardant coatings to structural steel, timber, and other building elements to achieve the fire-resistance levels (FRL) required by the Building Code of Australia (BCA). Intumescent coatings are thin-film products that look and feel like conventional paint under normal conditions, but when exposed to extreme heat they expand rapidly to form a thick, insulating char layer that protects the underlying structure and slows the spread of fire. On completion, we provide full certification and compliance documentation including product data sheets, batch numbers, dry film thickness measurements, and a certificate of compliance suitable for submission to building certifiers and council authorities.
